Аннотация
В настоящее время особо актуальны вопросы истории этномузыкологии, связанные с деятельностью ведущих исследователей — собирателей музыкального фольклора и основателей научных школ. Данной проблематике посвящена главная часть тематического выпуска, обзор которого представлен в статье. Раскрытию ранее неизвестных страниц истории науки способствует обращение к обширной документальной базе: рукописям, аудиозаписям, фотографиям. Суммирование информации и критический анализ источников позволяют прояснить события прошлого и дать верную оценку результатам деятельности ученых. Одним из перспективных историко-текстологических методов, применяемых в ряде работ, является сопоставление слуховых нотаций и фонограмм XIX — начала XX в. с аудиозаписями и их расшифровками, выполненными в 1970–80-е гг. и более позднее время. Сделанные на этой основе выводы касаются не только подходов к фиксации материалов, но и динамики изменения песенных традиций в целом. Весьма востребованы ареалогические изыскания, базирующиеся на результатах полевой работы многих поколений собирателей и открывающие перспективу дальнейших исторических обобщений. Не менее актуальны проблемы использования музыкального фольклора в творчестве композиторов, а также применения в практике современных исполнителей способов музицирования, сложившихся в устной традиции.

Current Trends in the Development of Russian Ethnomusicology

Abstract
At present, issues of the history of ethnomusicology related to the activities of leading researchers (collectors of musical folklore and founders of scientific schools) are especially relevant. The main part of the thematic issue of the journal, an overview of which is presented in this article, is devoted to this issue. The disclosure of previously unknown pages of the history of the science is facilitated by an appeal to a significant documentary base: manuscripts, audio recordings, photographs. Generalization of information and critical analysis of the sources make it possible to clarify the events of the past and give a correct assessment of the results of the activities of scientists. One of the promising historical and textual methods used in several articles is comparison of notations and phonograms of the 19th — early 20th centuries with transcripts of audio recordings made in the 1970s and 80s and later. The conclusions made on this basis concern not only approaches to fixing materials, but also the dynamics of changes in song traditions. Arealogical surveys based on the results of field work of many generations of researchers are in great demand. Such studies open the prospect of further generalization and historical assessment. No less relevant for ethnomusicology are problems of using musical folklore in the works of composers, as well as the practice of modern performers to use the methods of playing music developed in the oral tradition.
