Dear Professor Vasiliev,

I would like to thank you on behalf of Prof. Enrico Pompili, Mr. Daniele Ceraolo and Mr. Simone Sgarbanti, who have committed themselves with dedication to the production of the musical pieces presented in the videos we have sent you.

The emergency caused by the coronavirus did not allow us to participate in person but I am sure
that in the future we will be able to organize а new musical event by mutual agreement.

Best regards,
Marco Fiorini
Director of Higher lnstitute of Musical Studies “Achille Peri – Claudio Merulo”
(Reggio Emilia and Castelnovo ne' Monti, Italy)

I am thankful, that we could participate in your XX International Conservatory Week with such a solution. It meant a lot to the students to record the Beethoven for St. Petersburg and they would be happy to come to St. Petersburg in the future years. They were very disappointed that traveling wasn’t possible. What we didn’t know back then in October: this remained or only real orchestra project in this semester. There were several lockdowns later and organizing orchestra projects in such a time is unfortunately impossible. I can imagine that you are facing similar conditions in Russia!

I hope, that there will be an opportunity for a future cooperation! Until then: please stay safe and healthy, keep up the good spirit and your great work!
Wishing you blessed holidays and a calm and relaxing time and all the best for the upcoming year!

With my kindest regards,
Julia Purgina, Professor
The Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (Austria)

Dear Professor Vasiliev,

We want to continue our fruitful partnership and are looking toward to the future, when travelling will be possible again and we can cooperate in good old traditional face-to-face settings. In this year a cooperation via streaming, via Disklavier and Remote Lesson was not only the choice of the moment, but also a look and a first step into the future — by combining the fantastic historical piano interpretations of the great Russian Piano School, especially of musicians from St. Petersburg, with the digital possibilities of the 21st Century.

The pianistic connection between Freiburg and St. Petersburg looks back on a history of more than one hundred years. Let us take the next steps and let us plan future common projects.
