Тhe “Ir Shalem” Trio was established in 1993 and has been performing regularly in Israel and abroad. It was awarded the prestigious “Benyamini” award for the year 2004.

Yuri Gluhovski graduated from the Academy of Arts in Gorki (Russia). Yuri is the prize winner of the National Music Contest of Russia as a soloist (1989) and as first violinist in a quartet (1990). Since 2004 he is a concertmaster at the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra.

Alexander Sinelnikov graduated from the St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatoire and later became a professor there; he was a member of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra and of the Symphonic Orchestra at The Kirov Theatre. Alexander has worked at the “Solanei ha Galil” chamber ensemble, and the Israel Camerata Orchestra (Jerusalem).

Gabriela Talroze graduated from The St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatoire. After graduation she became a professor there. Gabriela has performed with the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra and various chamber ensembles. Gabriela teaches piano and chamber music at the Jerusalem Music Academy.
